NewstrAid staff join industry supporters to take on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge to raise money for those struggling with the cost of living.

NewstrAid CEO, Neil Jagger along with Finance Director, Laura Grice and Welfare Manager, Katie Babooram will be joining another 17 walkers this September to take on the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge in aid of NewstrAid.

The BIG WALK will take place over the weekend of September 16^th & 17^th and involves a 24 mile round trip including 1385m (5200ft) ascent, tackling the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent (694 m), Whernside (736m) and Ingleborough (723m) in under 12 hours.

Neil Jagger, NewstrAid CEO said: “We have been training hard over the last few weeks and are praying that the weather stays fine for the weekend. Our final hurdle is to reach our fundraising target of £1,500 and are asking anyone from the industry who can spare a few pounds to pledge their support and visit our fundraising page to donate to the cause.”
