NewstrAid Celebrates 185th Birthday with Welfare Volunteers

On 21^st October, NewstrAid hosted a special 185th Anniversary event for its Welfare Volunteers in London.

Including a short update from the NewstrAid team followed by a buffet lunch, the event saw 24 volunteers from around the country join together to celebrate NewstrAid’s 185th birthday.

Katie Babooram, Welfare Manager for NewstrAid said:  We are so grateful to all our Welfare Volunteers who give up their spare time to call and/or visit beneficiaries across the UK every year. They are a very important part of the support we provide and are valued greatly by the charity. It was wonderful to have the opportunity to raise a glass together in celebration of our special birthday.
