NewsTeam Shows Support for Industry Charity NewstrAid

Newspaper and magazine delivery company NewsTeam have raised more than £1,000 for NewstrAid during their recent conference in Paphos, Cyprus.

Involving 60 staff members from NewsTeam, the conference included a presentation from NewstrAid CEO, Neil Jagger and concluded with a fundraising event and raffle in the evening which raised more than £1,000 for the charity’s work.

Neil Jagger CEO for NewstrAid said: “It was really great for NewstrAid to be included in this event which allowed us to update all the delegates on the work that we have been doing to support people from the industry who might be struggling financially or emotionally. We are also so grateful for the generosity of those who attended and helped to raise over £1,000 for our work.”

The event also saw three members of NewsTeam staff sign up to become Welfare Volunteers for NewstrAid.

Neil Jagger added; “We are always on the lookout for people from the industry to join our army of volunteers who visit and call our beneficiaries and help to provide a human face of the charity and its work. To have three new volunteers sign up following this event was fantastic.”
