Industry advocates

Our Industry Advocates provide essential support to NewstrAid, by raising awareness about our work amongst their colleagues and raising money at events. Each advocate is based in a different organisation within the newstrade and works closely with us to make sure that anyone currently working in the industry is aware of who we are and how we can help.

There is also an emphasis on arranging activities that are fun and that allow different people from the industry to meet, socialise and get to know each other. Past events have included Wine Tasting, Pub Quiz evenings and even football matches.

These events not only spread the word about the help and support available from NewstrAid but also raise essential funds for our beneficiaries.
